I am currently the Director for Systems Change at the AIDS Foundation Chicago and the Center for Housing and Health. I’m from Houston, TX and moved to Chicago in 2004 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education. I’ve been doing housing advocacy work for the past 14 years, particularly under HOPWA funding. I joined the AFC Housing Team 3 and a half years ago working with the Housing Navigation Program and am excited to expand my role as of March 2021 as the Director of Systems Change. I’ve previously worked as an EMT with a fire department and occasionally teach CPR to new parents and their families. Outside of work and e-learning, I enjoy taking my kids on mini-adventures around the city.
