Nicole Holmes (B.S. CHES) is a Hotline/HUB HIV & STD Resources Manager for Center on Halsted, the Midwest’s largest and most comprehensive LGBTQ+ community center. In her role with Center on Halsted, she manages the team that provides sexual health information for patrons that call the State of Illinois AIDS/HIV & STD Hotline as well as the team that provides short-term supportive services to patrons that contact the HIV Resource Coordination HUB. Previously, Nicole has interned with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Undergraduate Public Health Scholars Program (CUPS) through Morehouse College. In addition to working for Center on Halsted, she has also taught sexual health education for youth (middle and high school students). She graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with her Bachelor of Science in Health Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health Degree from Northern Illinois University.
